'A Culinary Cabaret', an evening of food and drink related songs and sketches drawn from a wide range of sources; from Cabaret to Sweeney Todd, from the Kings Breakfast to a coffee in Starbucks, everyone will find something to suit their taste!
Co-Director, Mike Hills of Farnborough says "It has been enormous fun brewing up this show. Having decided to do a revue piece we needed a theme – what to do? You'd think that food and drink would be quite restrictive but after a particularly creative session we ended up with a list that would have taken the best part of a day to perform. Whittling it down proved to be quite a challenge, especially trying to maintain a balance of different but enjoyable pieces whilst creating something that 'gelled'. We think we’ve achieved it with a company of 12 talented members, come along and let us know if you agree!"
Early in the rehearsal process Theatre64 decided to run a Twitter competition to name the revue. 'A Culinary Cabaret' was entered by John Walker and deemed the worthy winner. John wins 2 tickets to the show on a night of his choice.
