Not feeling yourself lately?
Are you bored of an evening? Longing to do something a little different?
Do you fancy... a change?
Are you a Jekyll? Enthusiastic, scientific - a gentleman. Or are you more of a Hyde? Instinctive, passionate, uncontrolled. How about a bit of both?
Theatre 64 is looking for anyone interested in theatre for our next production - Robert Louis Stephenson's "Jekyll & Hyde". "Jekyll and Hyde" has a large cast of men and women, with a variety of parts to suit all sorts - even the slightly schizophrenic! They are also looking for the more reserved, with vacancies for all manner of back stage types.
"Jekyll and Hyde" marks the finalé of Theatre 64's 40th anniversary season. It follows on from the successes of Bernard Shaw's "Pygmalion" and Dennis Potter's "Blue Remembered Hills" that started the year with a bang. Theatre 64 is a small, but perfectly formed, group based in Yateley with members from as far afield as Reading and Guildford.
The show is perfectly timed to fall during the week of Hallowe'en, from 27th to 30th October. Auditions will be held on Friday 27th August and there will be an opportunity to meet other members of the group and read through the play on Monday 23rd. Rehearsals will be held on Mondays and Fridays from 8.00 to 10.30 pm. You can find them in room C1.1 (sixth-form common room) at the Yateley School campus.
