Adapted by Ian Wooldridge, this production portrays the overthrow of their human master by the farm animals and their hopes for a bright new future. Leadership is taken over by the pigs, which are cleverer than the other animals, but the desire to rule and make everyone conform to their hardworking ideals soon corrupt the original dream of being free.
